I have been placed it the WRAG ,, i have been on incapacity benefit for 11 years , i did not have to have a medical as i have servere agrophobia and panic disorder..... but for some reason they feel i can attend a monthly interview ... someday i struggle to go to the shops mind face someone who hasnt a clue about my condition i find it humilating enough as it is ... how do they feel they can get me back to work if ten years of psychatrists and doctors cant have they had medical training that that they are now doctors of this field?
not sure where to start ... got a appointment with my doctors if i turn up that is ..... to rtry and get him to support my appeal ....but as the doctors change regularly how can he know me...

While you remain in the WRAG you are required to participate in Work Focussed Interviews and Work Related Activity, failing to do so without Good Cause can result in your benefit being sanctioned.

You can challenge the Decision to place you in the WRAG, but I have to warn you that the Going Out Descriptor which may have been used to place you in the WRAG, does not have an equivalent descriptor for the Support Group, so you will have to qualify for other reasons.

If you want to consider an appeal, you have a look at our ESA Appeal guide
