ATOS Timescales

I am currently in ESA support group and I sent in my ESA50 for re-assessment in May. Three months on I am still waiting to see whether I will need to go to another medical or whatever.
Seems cruel that we are required to send our material back to a stated deadline, but they can take as long as....
When I rang, they told me "it takes as long as it takes."
In these circumstances, do we have a right to complain to ATOS, and if so, how long to wait?
Also, a website query: previously, when I have posted a topic, I always used to be prompted via my email inbox when there were replies. Has that facility been withdrawn?
Grateful for any feedback.
Thanks

I am afraid that neither ATOS or the DWP are required to complete the assessment process within any specific timescale.
Yes, you can complain, however, contacting you MP may be a more effective strategy, I would expect ATOS to complete their component within 2 months based on our understanding of their booking system, as to the DWP, I would certainly be chasing them after 3 months.
I never used the email system, so I cannot say when it was removed, but it is certainly not available in the current version of the Forum software. The "My Topics" button allows you to see topics that you have created, alternatively you can bookmark the topic in your browser as you would any web page.

I waited for 5 months last time, they are a law until themselves. I take the view that no news is good news so difficult as it is I would try and forget about it. If they wanted to see you I would have thought they would have contacted you before now. They are still snowed under and are struggling with all the assessments and bureaucracy.
