Hi,

That`s everything away, went recorded delivery with certificate of posting as there is still 4 days to deadline.

The large package contains:

10yrs medication records.
10yrs Palindromic Arthritis records.
Full Visual History from childhood.
New ESA50 Questionnaire.

Have to say, It has been many a day, since I have gone through such a stressful experience as filling in this form and providing evidence required.
Reading through some of the experiences others have had with ATOS / DWP, I wonder if it will prove to be at all worthwhile for my poor wife?

Hi B,

The ESA WCA system is so fickle that there are no guarantees, no matter how substantive the evidence provided may be.

The best way to look at it is, if you hadn't provided such evidence, it could not have possibly been taken into account.

The other positive is that the more evidence that you provide in the first instance, the easier it should be to have a successful reconsideration/appeal if required. (Hopefully not required)

Please keep us updated. :)

Hi Bro,

Thank you,

Unfortunately a report from one of my wife`s consultants did not come through in today`s post .
She phoned us at the beginning of the week & sounded very sympathetic to our cause, however the letter has not arrived in time.
When it arrives, I take it we send on to the same address our package went to today, but what instructions should we provide to make sure it meets up with our previous correspondence?

Hi B,

Yes, send a "COPY" of the letter (keep original) to the same address as the ESA50 was sent to.

Put your wife's NI Number, Name, and DOB on any separate pages.

Include a covering letter stating that you wish this evidence to be taken into account with The ESA50, and the subsequent WCA.

You could also send a copy of the same, : FAO The ESA Decision Maker, at the address of the Benefits Office on any ESA letters that you have, just in case ATOS "lose" it.

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

Hi
We received a letter on Saturday morning almost one month after submitting my wife`s ESA50 form with evidence, she has been placed in the Support Group on contributions based ESA.
The letter did not state the length of the award or the reasons for same.
Phoned this morning to request an ESA85A (medical report) for future reference, and to ascertain the length of the award. JCP informed us the review date was August 2016 (3 years), I will let you know the reasons for her award when the ESA85A letter arrives.
My wife will be reassessed for transfer from (DLA to PIP) in the near future so another fight looms on the horizon to keep benefits she has
Many thanks, to those of you who helped with advice and guidance, much appreciated.
