Very anxious about the whole thing its soo exhausting all these years of fighting with hospitals , benefits etc..

Hi ,
I got a letter through after all these months and got to have a face to face assesstment , which is making me so down because of the bad treatment i recieved from the atos doctor last time .
Has anyone got a little bit of advice to prepare me for medical ?
I find it difficult saying exactly how my life is affected everyday and dont there for explain things properly which doesnt help :(

Would appreciate any advice as i am not even able to sleep With the worry :(

How do i say to the atos doctor that i find it difficult explaining how things are ? its like my mid goes blank and i think that i should of told them "this" but not till after i have left , its so frustrating :angry:

I even do it with my own GP when i see them about my health

I would suggest you take someone with you to the assessment if you can, they can help to "control" the assessor.

I would explain as soon as you go into the examination room and sat down, that you have problems explaining how things are to others, so they need to be patient and allow you time to collect your thoughts before you answer. You can always write this down on a piece of paper and read it out or hand it to the assessor.
