My wife had a further medical on October8 2013 at which time she was classed as 40 per cent disabled .her new award .said she was now 60.per cent disabled and would last till.October 2018.You.should be asked.to attend a new medical before.the.old.one ends.Regards.peter

We don't really advise on Industrial Injuries Benefit. However, if it is a fixed term award and not a life award, one would expect to receive a new reassessment several months before the current award was due to end.
