Hi b,

If you wish to qualify for The SG, on activity 8, as wriiten in my previous post, you need to provide evidence from your G.P., Practice Nurse etc, that you suffer those limitations at least once a week.

You could also consider mentioning any "Risk" that may be involved regarding your Diabetes through not being able to eat properly if you are going out, under ESA Reg 35. Of course there is no guarantee that you would qualify under this, but ESA Reg 35 can be useful as a back up to any functional descriptors.

Again, you would need to provide evidence of any "Risk".

cheers bro, thanks for your advice. my gp has already told them of this prob because i had a colonoscopy last year which was negative. he has told them if its not the spinal injury thats causing the prob then its the severe nerve damage doing it. either way i dont see how i can be placed in the wrag with this. i know it means i am not fit to work, but i am still required to attend wfis. once again thanks to you all at the site for your help

As I understand it, your mother's income will not be taken into account when assessing you for income-related ESA.
