Good luck Judith, stay strong.
Just to warn you - although the claimant often hears the Tribunal decision while they are there, sometimes, especially if the Tribunal is over-running, they have to wait until the decision letter arrives until they know their fate.

Yes Mrs H you are dead right but I did not see your comment before I went.
They said they had overrun and will write to me so I am still in a state of anxiety.

Eight months since I started this thread and 11 months since the whole process started and I still do not know if I have won my appeal. Although Mrs. H left a comment saying that this could happen I did not see it until I got home from the appeal.
So I am still playing the waiting game and do not feel hopeful - as we walked out I said to my hubby think I have blown that to which he agreed. My problem is that I am too honest!!
I thought that appeals lasted 1 hour but obviously I was wrong - they allow 30 minutes and mine went to 45 minutes that was why I did not get a decision - I would love to think this is positive but....
.
If I have lost then I have nowhere to go and will not have any money until September 2014 when I will get my retirement pension. Hubby is taking flexible retirement starting next monday (his 65th birthday) - he will be claiming his pensions but staying at work reducing his week to 4 days. I really needed to keep my benefits to give us a chance of saving a little money to support us when he finally retires - he keeps on saying he will not be able to retire and that makes me very sad and I feel somewhat responsible.

Judith
A lot of claimants leave the Tribunal feeling that they have blown it, only to find that they have been successful when the Decision Notice arrives a couple of days later, hopefully you will be another who falls into this category.

Thank you Gordon - fingers and everything crossed

Unfortunately I am feeling so desperately low and depressed with the very sad loss of my foster daughter, I never thought it was possible to feel such pain and wretchedness
