put into the support group

i am so pleased . i have been put in the support group as i have fibromyalgia. would not have been able to fill in medical questionairre without the help from this site. thank you so much for all your info. i only sent off medical questionairre 2 weeks ago and got a letter on saturday saying they have put me in support group. i have not been to any medical. i cannot believe it, thankyou so much for all your help. i would like to know if being in support group means i do not have to be reviewed again. is it ongoing or do i have to be assessed in a years time again. i get contribution based esa.

That is great news, you must be glad it's over for now. I feel like it's a dark cloud hanging over me. I was wondering if you sent extra information with your form and did you state why you can't work. I'm not sure if I state my symptoms and why I can't work or just my symptoms and not mention work. Also would it be ok for my Doctor to say he felt there would be a risk to my physical health if I were found not to have limited capability for work related activity?

Well done for getting into the support group.

Claimants in the support group still get reviewed but the length of time until the next assessment varies. You can find out when your next review is due by contacting Jobcentre Plus and asking for a copy of your ESA85A, which should tell you how long it's likely to be before you are reviewed.

hi, i did send in 3 large pages of extra information and said why i couldnt work. you have to write down everything on your worst day.

If you don,t mind can you please tell me what kind of things you put in your form that you could not do, as a very dear friend of mine also has fabro was put in WRAG even though she sent in pages of additional info.She now has to appeal and is worried sick. Was just wondering where she might have gone wrong!!!
