transferred to ESA wrag from IB just got P45?

is this right? it jut arrived in the post, nothing else in the envelope just saying my IB stopped on the 31/08 on the P45. does everyone get their P45 when they transfer to ESA?

I received a P45 a couple of weeks ago telling me my IB ceased on 8th August, when i phoned them they told me i was treated as though IB was my employer and that i had ceased employment with them.
They said i had now been transferred to ESA (who would be my new employer), but everything would continue as before.
However my next payment that was due on 22nd August did not get paid.
I had to ring them to get it sorted.
You also have to take 2 parts of the P45 to your local Jobcentre.

I have to say that that really is a dreadful analogy from the DWP!

I received the P45 as well, when I was
moved from Incapacity Benefit to ESA.
I didn't know I had to take any copies
to the jobcentre, and have only kept
the copy that said 'Keep this copy'.

Will anything happen?
