Hi all need some advice i am on income support and severe disability premium, wth middle care and high mobility, i also now have been awarded 14 hrs care from from my social services, well am sick n tired of being at home 24/7 and now i have been awarded this help i am thinking maybe i could work part time 2 days for 15 hrs, not sure if i am up to it health wise or if i could find a job but its def a something i would like to think about, still not hundred percent but would like it to happen, what i am worried about is that how much of my benefits would i lose and what would i be entitled to, this is a break down of what i get.

I would be working for 15hrs for min pay so i think its about £95.
1. would i lose all my income support 2.Would i lose my severe disability payment 3.Would i have to pay some of my rent and council tax Would i have to pay towards my 14hrs of care given to me
Sorry if i have waffled away lol havung this help starting in a few weeks would really help me big time so the thought of poss working is something that really puts a smile on my face, but i a, so worried i will be worse off. Thanks again any info would be very appreciated, From Roch

You really need to speak to your local CAB or Welfare Rights Office, who can sit down with you, with all of the information in front of them, and explain what your options are.
