Members only news

I have just checked I can read members only news without logging in.

Since you are all members, we only know from this thread whether it is only members that can do this. I'm a computer numpty, so I don't understand about things like histories and cookies etc., only that my computer can remember things.

Does any of you have a friend online that isn't a member who you could ask to have a go accessing members only news?

You're only a member when you are logged on. You are no longer a member when you log off, or at least the site doesn't know that you are a member.

I've just managed to grab a friend online and asked her to try to access the members only news. It said she had to log in. So this seems to be happening only with non-logged in members not non-members.
