Thanks but it doesn't apply to me.

I am retiring due to MS and not being able to work anymore because of (as my occ health dr said) a constellation of signs and symptoms.

It seems all my hard work over the years and supporting myself through everything doesn't count at all...

Hi lollo,

Sorry to hear that you have MS. Not sure how long you've been a member, but my husband Jim, also a B & W moderator, but currently off sick has MS, which was diagnosed in 1986, when he was 46 years old.

He's now 70 and has secondary progressive MS, but still manages to post here often. He also has severe asthma, which was the reason for his recent hospital admission.

Not sure how bad you MS is, as no doubt you're aware there is no 'typical' case of MS.

If you have mobility and/or care problems you should apply for Disability Living Allowance

If you have a local MS Society in your area, I do recommend joining as both they and the National MS Society have been of great help to us over the last 20 plus years.

Take care.

Pat
