Hi everyone
Does anyone know if claimants living in sheltered housing will be classed as living in residential care and therefore lose their dla mobility component?

kind regards
Bella :)

I really don't think that's same thing Bellaboo.

The ones in sheltered are able to go in and out if they please as the only thing is they are in a secure building with seperate houses/homes. The people in care homes are not able to go as they please without the staff and Manager at hand,I know from experience, and they have a room rather than house.
I do not know for fact on your question ,but would doubt if they will be treated same way.
