Hi Tommo - I wasn't expecting to be placed in the support group at all, so wasn't specifically appealing against that. I can only think that because I am almost 63 and have had an MRI scan and lots of other neurological tests, together with the backup evidence from my GP and specialist's letters, they have decided I will never work again! When I lost my first claim (not appeal) last February I started the appeal process, but ALSO put in a new claim as my condition had worsened. I then decided it wasn't worth carrying on with the appeal and just went through the claim process again, ie. claim form/telephone interview and then a few weeks later the dreaded medical questionnaire. If your condition has worsened then put in a new claim and go through the whole process again - at least you will be receiving the minimum benefit whilst in the, what do they call it, "assessment period". Good luck - keep fighting.
