Hi, Im have appealed (only 9points) but my back is getting worse, doc just signs me off, back pain and numb left foot, should i inform the dwp that i am worse, what evidence do i need , a letter from the doc!,the dwp / atos have never contacted him or surgeon about me, would i be referred back to atos, many thanks in advance. If your condition has worsened, you should reclaim ESA straight away while your appeal is pending.
You will need confirmation of the deterioration from your GP by means of a letter, at which point you will undergo the ESA work capability assessment again.
