how long will they keep me waiting?

How long before I get to know whether I am going to be called in for a medical?I am on long term IB and sent my form off 6 weeks ago,can anybody help?

Hi suzi, If you sent your form alongwith supporting medical evidence etc, they MAY not send you for a medical because the way things are at present they are way behind. If you are still being paid your IB i would just wait. We are all going to be going on to ESA in the future anyway. Best Wishes

I waited 6 weeks for a letter to call me in for a medical for Incapacity Benefit(on revue after 5 years).I received the letter stating I'd passed the PCA (without a medical) and my next revue was in 2013. Very strange as I will receive my state pension April 2011.
