I am due to attend an appeal against an ESA decision on the 5 May 2010. I had been given advice throught the Community Legal Help. This morning I got the submission for the tribunal from the solicitor, it is very good, but to my horror they have told the tribunal that due to lack of funding through the legal aid, this is not possible.
I do not know if I can do this on my own as I thought I would have support. I have been told it is better to turn up than not, as I have asked for an oral hearing, but I have problems at this time.
William, I'm due to go this week as well, although I've been unwell recently. The CAB has provided me with someone, and they've been great. I had decided I wasn't going to go, and just let them decide without me, but I changed my mind and if I have to go by ambulance I'll be there. I've been telling myself it'll be over this week, and I can stop worrying. I think if you don't turn up the chances of them finding for you are slim. Good luck and I'll let the blog know how I get on.
