Fit note

Hi,
I have been in receipt of SDA for some time. I received a letter last year stating they no longer required any more sick notes. However will that now change because of the fit note being introduced? Also when I get the results from the cardiologist tests, should I forward them to the DLA if Angina is diagnosed even though my DLA (thanks to this site) was awarded for five years ? Many thanks

I don't think the introduction of fit notes will make any difference.

For DLA, the requirement is that you should report any change that may affect your entitlement. We can't give you definite advice on this, the final decision has to be yours, but clearly in some circumstances a new diagnosis might be relevant.
