I have had a query from a client regarding a male who is to have a DLA medical in his own house. However, he has been a victim of rape and has problems with males attending his house. On request for a female doctor, Atos have replied that they do not employ a female doctor in this area, and have therefore refused his request. Any suggestions?
I would suggest your friend seek expert advice on this either from a qualified welfare rights officer at his local council or the CAB or Community Legal Advice (0845 345 4 345).
