pip extension was created by an ex nurse
Hi all,
just a little point of interest. I have been on to the one log-in site and found my pip award has been extended by 2 years . My award originally ran until July 2029 and has been extended until July 2031.
The award was originally due to end 2 months before I reached state pension age but will now take me past SPA. I am wondering if my age had any bearing on the extension.
Best wishes

Hi, can I also ask as I will be over state pension age at my next review is this likely to be a light touch review. Are awards more likely to be for an indefinite period after SPA ?
Many thanks

Hi an ex nurse
After reaching state pension age your PIP will be reviewed every 10 years and it will be light touch.
