My PIP award extension

My review is due on 13/7/27.
Letter received today informing me of my award extension date - however it’s only for 7 days until 20/7/27.
I managed to speak with someone who confirmed this was correct ‘to fall into alignment with their system’.
They will contact me again after 26th of this month with an update. It seems a waste of time & money to me but hey ho - anyone else had a similar experience? Thanks in advance

Hi, I had a 4 year award which is due for review in September 2027. My extension letter is for 14 days. Im not going to phone them. They will only tell me what they told you. An extension of even one year would have been helpful with all the changes and Timms report happening. I suppose they will continue with a small number of reviews alongside new applications and were unlucky enough to be one of them.

Hi yes my daughter had the same, a 7 day extension. However her review is not due until Oct 2029! so a long way off
