ESA and work was created by hello1234
Hello, I receive PIP and I recently applied for NS ESA (I'm not eligible for UC).
I currently work for very few hours, almost exclusively from home. I'm unable to work more hours or in other positions/roles due to my disability. When I sent my initial ESA application online, I declared how many hours a week and my earnings. All is well under the permitted work limits. I'm filling out the WCA50 form and it gives me a lot of anxiety. I'm very worried that the assessor will see that I do some work and decide that I'm fit for work or work-related activities. I receive enhanced mobility PIP, so I believe I should score 15 points on the moving part and be put in the support group. But of course, it depends on the assessor's decision.
I wonder what you think I should include in my form. Should I talk about my current work? Or just specifically about the descriptors? My dream would be to have a paper-based assessment, as I get so anxious and fatigued (my PIP telephone assessment made me literally ill). If I include all the details about my current work and how many breaks I take and all that, would it be helpful to give a general idea and explain why I can't do other work-related activities? Or is it better not to mention anything? I'm really confused.
Thanks so much!

Hi hello1234

I would advise you to look at the BenefitsandWork guide on completing the WCA50 here and then come back with any questions :-
