Will moving to new county (forced move) harm my Transitional Protection on UC?

Landlord is selling flat I privately rent from him, and I'm thinking of moving to a new county. But I'm afraid it may trigger an end to my Transitional Protection, that I get after a forced migration from legacy benefits to Univeral Credit (I also get PIP).

I know Transitional Protection (TP) may be lowered if my housing beneft element should increase-but that aside, is there any reason to think I may lose TP by moving county?

Thanks.

Hi bobberto

This is not an issue with you. It was something that caused concern years ago with what was called Natural Migration. As you have gone through Managed Migration then your Transitional Protection will be reduced not because of a new location but if your elegible rent is higher than in your last location.
