Just an update to help others ,
Clmt appt was scheduled 2.15pm today
there were a sequence of calls before we actually had the assmt call as follows
Call 1 @ 11.46am . Agent wanted to speak to clmt. i advised he is asleep. i am his appointee. she said no apptee on file and refused to talk anymore . very abrupt and rude manner imo
Concerned about 'no appointee in file' stm , i called HAAS to follow up. Made 2x calls and was cut off 😵💫- so gave up
Call 2@ 13.15pm - HAAS agent confirming clmt will attd assmt and acknowledged/confirmed appointee . no problem. agent advised assmt would be earlier than scheduled at 13 .45pm . we agreed.
At 14.35pm i was concerned that the HCP hadnt called. We called HAAS again as per B&W guidance to ask if it was going ahead. Agent was adamant no apptee on file. agent checked pip confirmed apptee, checked UC no apptee . then advised that i could not participate in the assmt. Instructed me to call DWP to get records updated. this is an ongoing saga. See my other post
Call 3 @ 14.44pm HCP called to start the assmt. we recorded the call as did the assessor. call lasted 1hr 45m
The moral of the story is the assmt day can be chaotic and the accuracy of info and level of customer service varies widely. Keep your cool and keep going .... you know what to do even if most of them don't !
