Hi Camy
You are in the Support Group so your phone call will be just to agree a basic Claimant Commitment. You won't have to attend the Jobcentre. The phone call should last less than 10 minutes and only be concerning reporting any changes of circumstances.

It's possible that you may automatically be given a phone appointment. If not, if you receive a letter you can phone and ask for a phone call. I don't know anyone who has actually had to go to a JobCentre to do the claimant committment part, it always seems to be done by phone as it's only a 10 minute call at the most. I don't know about having to supply photo ID but I've not heard of anyone having to do this.Re asking for a phone call instead of a trip to the JC to meet a work coach... What do we say? How much explanation needs to be given that I can't go there, will we need to supply evidence? Also I read someone saying that on these calls they ask you to confim the ID you gave when claiming UC... But I'm not on UC so am wondering if they will want still me to supply photo ID or something - because I dont have any. Been on CB ESA in the SG since 2013. Recieved an IR top up until 2015 but not eligible for any IR since then due to savings, so as I understand it will not (at least for the time being) be migrated to UC.
