I contacted you earlier in the year about the treatment of my son's inherited pension. I received a useful rely with a note of the regulations applicable. I contacted the DWP to be told as my son received some ESA (iR) it has to be taken into account This is not what the regs state. The CAB agreed with you.
I have written several times since, all recorded delivery but received no response. I have now asked the matter to go to appeal. Again no response. This goes back to 2015. What do I do now, give up or keep going and if so how?
To make matters worse his inherited pension is deducted from his ESA and the council when calculating his weekly care bills deduct it again. This can't be right. I have informed them many times but no response.

If you are using your email address as this Forum's user name will you please change it for internet security reasons.
When you contest a decision with the DWP it is termed requesting a Mandatory Reconsideration. When you get the DWP reply to the Mandatory Reconsideration they have to give you details on how to appeal to a tribunal.
The tribunal is separate from the DWP and it is unlikely that both will be ignoring you if the correct processes have been undertaken.
Have you completed the appeal SSCS1 form? I have provided a link to the SSCS1 here :-
