Letter arrived this month with an going PIP award as I have just retired. My ESA has finished after three years which was literally a life saver after working all my life since 1975.
Never imagined I would ever have to claim any benefit but the roofing industry took it's toll on my knees and hands with crippling arthritis.
Thanks a million I found this site and signed up to membership. Best decision ever and definitely helped me secure full ESA and PIP assistance.
My 26 year old son with Downs Syndrome has just migrated to UC and very smooth process..again thanks to BW help.
Benefits are a minefield so make sure you subscribe to BW your best friend by miles..good luck

Hi Vin

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.

Thank you for your kind words, depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to apply for Guarantee Pension Credit, we would advise you to seek specialist advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.
