PIP renewal after pension age was created by ES Barnes
My 10 year review is due next year, I will be 70 I get enhanced on both. Problem is I have very little medical evidence to support my claim as I have long term conditions, ME, fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.
What is the light touch review and what happens will I get the same level of PIP as my needs have got worse since my last review
Advice would be appreciated

Hi ES Barnes

You can read about the light touch review on page 135 of the Guide to PIP claims and Reviews. They won't be expecting your to send in new evidence - they will just get you to say whether there have been any changes in your condition (in your case it is worse). Hopefully, they will decide you need the same level of support - but that will only be known when you get the decision letter.

Just retired August after working all my life then crippled with arthritis three years ago.BW helped me get ESA and PIP standard rate no mobility. It was due to review next November 2026 but have just surprisingly received a letter giving me an indefinite award.
Sure you will not have any problems and as much as the Government have a witch hunt on welfare they will not target pensioners currently receiving benefits. If your condition has got worse then you should be entitled to higher rate benefits.
Good luck and please don't spend every waking hour worrying..life's to precious 👍
