Hi

I have a small amount of savings for unexpected expenses (under £2000) in my account & wondered if I lent a family member around £400 for an emergency (which I would receive back in full a week or two later), would this cause any issues? As I am on UC, would it count as income for that month even though it was my own money originally?

No, that wouldn't cause any issues. It's not income - it's savings.
