Universal Credit - URGENT HELP REQUIRED was created by fruitbat
It is Friday night, I am paralysed and typing supine. I have friends who carebfor me but are notofficial carers. All I can move is my right arm. I am being cared for at the NHNN, Queen Square and may have advanced motor neurone disease with full body oedema. I have 31 co morbidities and have been on ESA in the support group as well as hgh rate for bth components of PIPS for years. Ihave a total of 11p in my bank account.
I todayreceived my migration letter and completed and submitted my application as I wantedit out of the way asap as things are getting to the point where I will no longer be able to type, even supine. My doctoris not in a position to deal with this issue and even questioned that I have it (the nurse practitioner's secretary -this was when I could walk) is writing to my Professor whois head of the dept(!) to ask if I am really hispatient and if National Hospital of Neuroscience and neurolgyexists (whichis basically like saying where is Oxford and does the moon exist.... le sigh).
I spoke to an assistant and I now have in my to do list I have to accept my commitments but it does not tell me what they are or how to do this!! All I have is a message saying UC will call me in the next 2-3 days but it is Friday night, soI doubt it! ItsaysI have to accept my commitments by 11th of this month or I wont get paid.... that gives me approx 2 days to somehow get this resolved and get an advance payment as 11p wont pay the rent which comes out on Monday...
I would then have to contact my Housing Asssn to set up a direct debit assuming within 1 or 2 days UC can even pay me an advance payment and sort out my claim. As I said all it says is they will call me. Doesn't say when....
Can anyone advise? I already have PTSD and this situation ismaking it considerablybworse. Thanks in advance and apologise for typos. Typing supine with myone good arm.

Hi fruitbat
You could ask for a DWP Visiting officer to come to your home to assist with your claim.
Can your Housing Association arrange some help? Do they have tenant support workers?
