Hi Colin
I have only heard of one person being given a second extension. I know a couple of people who have been refused one. However, you can but ask and then see what they say. Tell them about the fact you need help and none is currently available.

Hi Colin
It is correct, they will need savings details, as UC is a means tested benefit. If you have savings over £6k then you will be affected by notional capital, if you have savings over £16k then you will not be eligible to claim UC.

Hi Colin
I was saying it is correct that UC will want to know about savings details, not about 3 way phone call. A three way phone call can happen when an advice agency contacts DWP on behalf of a client and joins the client in on the conversation.
