UC video tribunal. Last minute request for support

Hello. My sister has a video tribunal tomorrow and had hoped a professional could join the video call but they are unavailable.
She has struggled at every stage to get the best information (DWP info being different to tribunal info) so she is not convinced the extra info she has sent will be read and included.
So she would like to have me join the call for support.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible at this late stage?
Thanks

Hi tigerblue

Of course, you can be with her. The panel should ask if she has anyone with her. Hope it goes well for both of you.

Sorry, I should have said that I am not nearby! Want to join her on the video so wondering if anyone has done that?
Thanks

Sorry I did a quick reply but didn’t realise it wouldn’t show?
So, I forgot to say that I live a long way away from my sister so can’t be there in person. She would like me to join the video.
Anyone done this?
Thanks

Hi tigerblue

I have not done a videoTribunal, most of the recent Tribunals I have attended is by phone and distance is no object with multi parties at the Tribunal.

Hi tigerblue

As stated in your previous post, I have not done a video tribunal but I have attended quite a few by phone and distance is no object. I would think video would be the same, they may have a video link with your sister and a phone link with you.

You will be told that you cannot record the session..
