Pip Renewal Claim (Newbie Here) was created by Alrightdave
Hi all
I am about to start the form for a renewal claim for my son who currently gets Pip, and to be honest I am finding it a bit daunting to say the least.
I have just downloaded the guide, I haven't read it as yet, but thought I would ask for some advice on how to go about it and is there anyone that offers a checking service or similar as this is so important for him, and to be honest I dont want to mess it up.
Any thoughts or advice appreciated
thanks
Dave

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Dave
Do have a look at the guide. Although the review information is at the end of the guide, you can use the earlier information to answer the questions if you're struggling to do so There are sample answers for every question, and it tells you what areas you should include. You can use these examples as a basis for your answer.
Try not to be tempted just to say 'no change' - Even if there is no change, say why and repeat what your son still finds difficult or impossible.
Just do one question at a time, and you will get through it. If you're filling in the form for him, complete it in the third person eg "X is unable to cook for himself due to severe arthritis..."
Come back and ask if you have any questions once you start completing the form and we will try and help.
