U.C. journal note was created by Jay
Hi,
I migrated from ESA to UC 3 weeks ago & so far I have not encountered any issues. On my application - as advised by the B&W guide - I mentioned that as I was in the ESA support group I did not have to provide a fit note or undergo a WCA. I received a message in my journal today giving me the option to voluntarily attend work focused meetings. This is part of the message:

"........
We can talk about how I can support you. And we can identify things you can do to help you take the next steps – but only when you’re ready to.

For example, we can talk about:
- developing your skills
- building your confidence
- the things that matter to you
- potential options for the future

This chat is voluntary for you. It will not cause us to reassess your capability for work. The amount of Universal Credit you receive will not change........."

Is this a standard message that all migrated support group claimants receive or do I need to be concerned?

Thank you.

Hi Jay

It's a standard message. It's voluntary, so you don't have to accept it. There is nothing for you to worry about.
