Can i ask for Pip face to face review? was created by Robsy
I've just had a text for pip review, I'm scared as I can't and don't want a phone appointment I need a face to face so I can take my freind helper to speak for me as well,
I have a personality disorder(also I have barely any new information from doctor as I avoid) I'm 65 lady and know that a phone one I will fail because the person can't see me to see what I'm like. Even tho I don't socialise and have a nitemare each time I have to go out my front door I still think it's best to see the review person. I'm terrified and feel sick as soon a I find this text today. I see others also are full of fear I sympathise and it made me cry to read about how awful they feel about this whole process too. Thankyou.

Hi Robsy
Yes, you can ask for a face-to-face interview, but be aware that you may not get one close to your home. There are limited centres carrying out face-to-face interviews. (They aren't doing home visits). I understand you are worried about a telephone assessment, but your friend can be on the phone call with you.

Hi Robsy
As BIS has stated you can ask for a face2face but there may not be one close to you, if you can travel some distance then that may go against you.
If you struggle to speak, don't worry it is all taken into account, don't take any extra medication to help you cope as it will go against you.
