My pip review is up 5th August 2025 returned form in December 2024 I get enhanced for daily living and enhanced for mobility been getting this for 5 years iam 61 had a letter today my review is not complete so they have extended it too 5th August 2026 is this common to do this or has anybody had this happen to them many thanks

Hi Binky
Yes, it is common for them to extend it like this. It's to stop you from being left without any money. However, be warned, claimants sometimes get an extension and then find three weeks later they receive their decision letter from the completed review.

This morning I had a text of dwp to say my pip review was complete and I'll get a letter in about 2 weeks I did request a paper based review so hoping this is what they have done so you were right it was completed the review just stress of waiting for post .

Many thanks for all the team that work so hard to give us good information im pleased to say my pip has been extended to 2029 ill have a cup of tea now
