Migrations from DLA to PIP were paused until 2028. They haven't said they have started again, but there's nothing to stop you ringing the DWP and asking them if it's possible.

thanks for your replies.
I am not willing or panic free to phone DWP as they will want all my details before telling me and how can I trust what they say to me at this given tiime, and I'm so uncomfortable about that.
if i was allowed to ask to go from dla to pip I would not be initiating it until during 2026 but before Timms review etc.
it would be great if known if somebody, not the DWP, can tell me if I have the right to get onto pip from dla before timms review and to not have to waiit till I get an invite (that means not waiting to 2028 after goodness knows what horrific new rules are in place).
look forward to any replies thanks so much everyone

Hi BS65
We can't tell you whether you can or not. As I said in my previous answer - migrations were halted and we have not heard that they have been started up again.
