Hi

Yes, I also found that the CAB Help to Claim were not aware of how to help me when I explained that I was on combined IR and CB ESA and would therefore move to New Style Esa and UC. When I explained to them about a "Dual Claim" the person I spoke to had never heard of it and thanked me for informing and educating him about it!

He was also unable to do a benefits calculation for me as my case was too complex!

I think the Government have bitten off more than they can chew, they clearly do not have enough trained staff who are fully conversant (or even vaguely) to cope with the amount of migration claims that they are so keen to roll out so quickly. This is evident by the number of people who are missing LCWRA and/or transitional protection payments when they migrate over to UC.

I have an appointment with a local Welfare Rights organisation next week to help me with the form. I'm not expecting the transition to go smoothly going by the experience of others.

Thank Goodness for this site.

Best of Luck.

Hi xxxxxx

Yes, great advice.....don't get drawn in.....unless you want to be sold a Jobcentre programme.
