Hi All, I find it very difficult to understand how all ex-prime minister's will continue to receive their salary/allowance for the rest of there lives esp when we have so many of them and some are of the richest people. how much would be saved if this was stopped, surely these people are supposed to lead by example and if they cannot afford to give up this life-time allowance then they should join the dole queue with all the disabled who employers will be desperate to employ. I'm curious how others feel on this thanks
Your question is a legitimate concern, and I know you want to hear the views of other members. However, right now, the moderators have to use their limited time to address immediate issues that members need help with. We currently have a lot of posts with people trying to fill in MRs or Appeals or dealing with migration from ESA to UC as well as many other immediate issues.
I'm publishing your post, but I'm also locking it, as I have done with several others recently. These types of questions, where we have no answer but promote discussion, are increasing the distress of some members and also require a lot of our time to moderate. Hope you understand.
