Do letters from the family make a difference? It's impossible to tell, but the panel read all the information submitted, and if your sister-in-law can confirm your struggles, and providing it doesn't say anything that you're uncomfortable with, I would include it. Family members are often able to give a clearer picture than a medical professional.
