I am waiting for Doctor's appointments to be able to send in my PIP form. I have already been granted one time extension.
I spoke to two different DWP people. They were both lovely people and were very easy to talk to. I would not say a bad word about either of them.
However one said that the PIP form had to be 'in the post' by or on the return date. And the other one said they actually 'had to receive' the PIP form by the return date.
It needs to be with them in time for the date that is on the actual form. So for example - return by 2nd May 2025, make sure they've got it, if you can, by the 1st of May, so that it can be scanned straight into the system.
Hope this helps.
If you're struggling to meet this time, I would call again and ask for a further extension.
Chris.
