While not in principle against reforming PIP there are many concerns raised by this 'consultation'.

A few points. I am against the forced use of an 'advocacy service'. Having to use this 'advocacy' means DWP can stop paying capita/maximus billions and instead use DWP supporters inside these new bodies to filter out as many claims as 'private providers' currently.
One principle of our long established Social Security system is that individuals have the right to go to tribunal, these proposals would, at least in my reading of them, remove that.
I condemn the ending of the Motability scheme on the grounds that 'others' could provide services 'at a discount'. In other words 'Buy a used car from us and you'll get a 10% discount'!? Exposing vulnerable people to the 'Swiss Tony Discount Scheme' is not going to support them at all. Motability has worked well for decades with hundreds of manufacturers and thousands of dealers - it should continue.
What is the difference between labour cuts and tory cuts? maybe these parties should think long and hard over the millions of votes at risk here. Punishing the most vulnerable is not a vote winner as the Lib Dems found to their advantage.
Please take part in the consultation.

  			 				Hello

I have done a quick google on this and found this link dated 4th Feb 2025 about a survey for a replacement of PIP dpac.uk.net/2025/02/commission-on-social...r-a-pip-replacement/

Here is the link to the survey survey.alchemer.eu/s3/90797431/Public-Co...ment-PIP-replacement

I do not know if this is the one Martski was posting about?

Thanks
Waxwing
