Hi Sum
Once you have qualified for UC LCWRA then it will also apply to an ESA claim. Though from previous members posts you may have to nag/prompt them to accept this.

Hi David ,
Should i expect push back ? Will they ever insist we complete another WCA assmt ? can we refuse based on existing UC LCWRA status
A recent WCA of 1hr 45m has knocked me back tbh. Its really exhausting as you all know.

Evidently there are 25,000 Work Coaches in Jobcentreplus. Just like in any huge organisation you will find examples of very poor staff behaviour and exemplary. Let us know how you are treated nearer the time.

Just had an unexpected call from the Ns ESA Work coach.
She explained that she needs to reschedule the appt, bec her computer isn't working, thats why she didn't ring on Friday. I told her that the appt is for this Friday 17th ?! 🚩
She couldn't pronounce clmt name , its two syllables ?! or state the benefit clearly. She was struggling to string sentences together imo.
I think i know the calibre of the Work Coach already ........🤷🏽♀️deep breath for Friday

There are 25,000 Work Coaches in the DWP so they could be from all sorts of backgrounds. Among them I have met an ex Asda supermarket manager, a few ex school teachers, an ex army major and an ex security guard.

Well lets hope it was just a bad day and she redeems herself on Friday ... fingers crossed
Coming from a customer services background, It grates when someone calls from an organisation and shows little basic call handling skills and etiquette.
