They send two copies of the M/R decision because you may need to send one if you choose to appeal; however, I don't think you need to do this if you appeal online - I suppose they retrieve the information electronically. You still have plenty of time left to do this and you have already collected a lot of evidence. Since you weren't actually given an award, you aren't in danger of losing anything by appealing, so I would say, "Go for it." It is much easier to appeal online than I expected and you get an acknowledgment very quickly, then a letter in the post to confirm. We didn't actually get as far as going to a tribunal because the DWP revised their decision in our favour within a month of lodging the appeal and you may be lucky too. I was very worried about doing this, but found so much help and encouragement from fellow B & W members and the Moderators who helped with their valuable advice, that I would now advise anyone to give it a go!
