Hi Tuppence,

You can reply and say they have made a mistake and we are right after all.
The AET is NOT administered per household. Quote this from their own guidance...."Partners in a couple will be allocated to a regime independently based on their own individual circumstances meaning that they may be in different regimes". Page 2 of Labour Market Regimes and Overrides
