Landlord Problems was created by Ianeif2
Hi there, can anyone help?
My landlord has put my rent up without warning.
They've stopped using the estate agent who was very professional and started contacting me via whatsapp refusing to give me a number to phone and talk to them.
They have not done jobs that make entering my flat dangerous.
Now because I was texting back trying to get a number they have accused me of threatening behaviour and served an eviction order.
I have caused them no bother for around the 10 years I lived in this property, kept it clean, been quiet and never been late with rent.
regards

Depending on where you are in the country you may find that your local council has a Private Rented Housing team. They may also be able to advise you.
