Hi
Seeking some guidance please

A friend who lived at home with her mum and the mum has recently died. The friend got emotional support and limited help (nothing physical from her mum). The support needs havent changed and she now gets help from family and friends. Does friend need to tell the ESA people even though she is still getting the help she needs

Hi Steve,

Provided there has been no significant change in her underlying condition and how it impacts her she does not need to inform the DWP. How she gets the help which she needs does not matter. (And I am pleased to hear that others have stepped into the breach.)
