hi, i was sent an uprating letter 27/2/24 stating from April 8th social security benefits will change from 12 April your esa will be x amount, 138.20 minus half the company pension i get, sent details of new pension and let them know my pension was paid 26th of each month, got new uprating letter today 8/4/24 from 26th of april my new payment will be x the new amount minus half the weekly pension rise, which seemed correct on new pension, phoned pension provider and asked if my pension carries forward in to april or was it just for march, just for march it seems april will be the first pension payment for tax year and only covers the month of april despite being paid on the 26th, is this correct that they have moved my date of esa increase? or should i phone them to explain, hope you can help, many thanks
