we were told that it wasn't possible to record a video assessment therefore can we record the audio part, after all this is the important part. Do we have to let them know beforehand or in advance thank you
You can record audio - but unless you have already been informed they are happy for you to record - I would do a covert recording. If you ask - they may refuse.
