Best forms of evidence for PIP? was created by Mitch
Hi all,

What forms of evidence are best for PIP claims?

Also, are letters from friends and family any good? Do they carry any weight or will the DWP not really care?

Thanks!

The best evidence are;

- Diagnosis letters
- follow up from an appointment
- statements that directly address the |PIP criteria, for example; the distance you can walk.
- Prescribed medication

Letters from family, friends or a carer will have limited benefit in their own right but can be helpful in support of your testimony on the claim/review form. They help create a consistent picture of your limitations.
